MOST HEARD Spanish voice over in the world- Avast Antivirus
Avast Antivirus made me a STAR overnight thanks to this prompt in their Software!
“The Virus Database has been updated”
One morning, out of the blue, I had more than 1000 email messages from ALL over the world.
Every one of the emails referred to the same subject, the impact of “my voice” in the Avast antivirus software.
I must say that at first, I thought I had lost my mind,
It felt like being in one of those episodes of the Twilight Zone where the suspense could turn an ordinary day into a nightmare at any given moment.
I wasn´t even sure if I had ever recorded voice commands for a computer Antivirus program, and much less could I imagine that the AVAST brand had exported my European voice to the whole of the Spanish speaking world…South America included!
That explained why users of the software from Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Colombia, Miami, etc. were writing to me.
The whole experience was bittersweet. Some emails were very polite saying how beautiful they thought my voice was and how much they feel accompanied every morning when they heard the sound of my voice when turning on the computer.
Radio interviews started coming in, newspaper interviews worldwide, talking about the phenomenon of being the Spanish Voice of Avast Antivirus. I am not joking! Look it up on Google!

It was fun for me to narrate my experience of being one of the first voiceovers in Spain who was working remotely worldwide from my own professionally equipped studio, in Madrid.
Altogether very surreal and crazy year 2013 for a ZEN person like me.
It helped me get a grip on how it feels like to receive LOVE and HATRED of people who don´t know you at all !
Nevertheless, I still enjoy the miracle of being able to work remotely, and this job of communicating.
I was a visionary when I decided to believe that remote working would be possible some day , when no one believed in it.
It has been 12 years since then.
It is a dream come true after a lot of hard work.
